June 2009
Once again Holy Trinity Parish is welcoming a new priest.  Father David Lafferty has come to Okarche to take over as pastor.   Father Lafferty comes to us from Corpus Christi Parish in Oklahoma City. We welcome him into our church and parish family.

 
 

June 2009 Summer fun in the sun...
Holy Trinity families joined together for a potluck dinner with music and water play after church on the last Sunday in June.  There was plenty of food and friendship for everyone.  Hopefully this will be a new summer tradition for generations to come. <pictures>

 
 

February 2009
Father Leven's Little Red Wagon Mardi Gras Party was held in the Parish Hall.  Shrimp boil, dirty rice and cornbread was served with King Cake for desert.  This year's 'King' was Roxann Lackner. Father's annual party is put on by the Holy Trinity Auction Committee to help raise money for projects supported by the Holy Trinity Parent's Association.  <See pictures of the party>

Welcome to Father Arul, born on June 22, 1966 to Anthonisamy Pudhota and Jojammal Sundaraj.  His university studies include an M.A. and M.Ed., specializing in sociology and English.  He was ordained on April 24th, 1992, at St. Joseph's Cathedral in Nellore, India.  Father's full name is Anthonsamy Arul Sundaraj.  He goes by the name of Arul which means John the Apostle in his native language.

Holy Trinity Parish says good bye to Father Philip after three wonderful years.  We wish him well in his new parish but will miss him terribly.  Our parish and especially our school has benefited from his time here and he will always be remembered with love. <pictures>  If you would like to keep in contact with Father you may do so by email at filoui@yahoo.com or write to him at: No. 3113, B. June 2008
Father Joseph Schwarz was ordained a priest May 30, 2008 and celebrated his first mass at Holy Trinity Church the next morning.  Joe graduated from Okarche High School in 2002.  His Father, Max currently serves as Deacon of Holy Trinity Parish and  his Mother, Pat teaches at Holy Trinity School.  The mass was followed by a celebration lunch in the parish hall.  <pictures>

February 2008
Father Leven's Little Red Wagon Mardi Gras Party was held in the parish center.  Shrimp Boil was severed on the tables with King Cake for desert.  Father Leven found the baby and was declared king of the party.  Father Leven's annual party is part of the Holy Trinity Auction benefiting the school.  We would like to thank Fr. Leven for his continuing support for the school. <pictures>

CDA hosted most successful Chicken Noodle Dinner ever!! Two hand made quilts were given away and hundreds of bowls of soup were severed.  To see pictures <click here>

Holy Trinity Parent's Association  hosts most successful auction ever, raising over $60,000 to benefit our school. Erin Schwarz was the winner of the Polaris ATV donated by Rother Brothers and Brent Morford took home the Loto-Fun Jackpot winnings. Thank you for your support!!<more>

The Holy Trinity Students participated in Red Ribbon Week at the end of October to show their support for a drug free lifestyle.  Each student signed a pledge to say no to drugs and wore a red ribbon signifying this pledge.  They also had themed dress up days all week. <pictures>

The students of Holy Trinity were blessed with a visit from Archbishop Beltran. After celebrating mass and expounding upon importance of Catholic Education, he visited each classroom to check on the students progress and gave each class a special blessing. <pictures>

August 2007
Aug. 6th and 7th the Holy Trinity leadership group "Team 21" traveled to Norman. The overnight trip allowed team members to plan events for the 2007-2008 school year, develop their leadership skills and learn teamwork at a Ropes course. <more>

July 21, 2007 KC Carnival
Beautiful July weather, good friends and fun made this years carnival a great success.  The highlight of the evening seemed to be Father Philip's turn in the dunk tank.  Thanks to all who donated, attended and volunteered.  To view photos of event click here

Holy Trinity Parishioners turned out between Sunday masses to meet the new teachers and welcome back our returning teachers for the 2007-2008 school year.  Parents and students got a chance to visit with the teachers and begin to look forward to the upcoming year.

March 4, 2007 Holy Trinity & Hornets
Holy Trinity & Lomega 7th and 8th Grade Girls and Boys teams competed at the Ford Center just hours before the Hornets took the court against the Utah Jazz.

January, 2007  Holy Trinity Catholic Daughters hosted their Annual Homemade Chicken Noodle Dinner and raffled off a handmade quilt. To see pictures of the event click here.

Operation Shoebox
The students of Holy Trinity spread Christmas joy around the world this Christmas Season through a project called Operation Shoebox.   Team 21 collected items for the soldiers in Iraq and items for the soldiers to hand out to the Iraqi children. <more>

November 2006
Holy Trinity Parish welcomed several new families at a reception between masses.  New families were presented and the Cantor choir performed a song.  Current parishioners were given a chance to meet and greet the newcomers over coffee, juice and pastries.  To see more pictures of the event click here.

The Holy Trinity Parent’s Association Auction was a success again this year! A special thanks to all who donated, attended, organized, and assisted in any way possible. Every year we are just amazed by your support and generosity. The school and the children will benefit greatly from all that you do. We cannot express enough gratitude to all of you. Summer 2006
Holy Trinity Parishioners were honored to have a Bishop Pudhotta Chinnaiah Balaswamy of the the Diocese of Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India.  He visited the many Indian priests now serving in the dioceses of Oklahoma and Scranton.  During his short visit he offered a mass and attended a potluck dinner hosted by Holy Trinity Families in his honor.  To see more pictures of the event click here.
